What is AGMARK Registration?

AGMARK certification is provided for agricultural products and it is governed by the Agricultural produce (Grading and Marking) Act, 1937. It acts as a benchmark quality standard of the products. It provides reassurance to the consumers on the quality and authenticity of the products.

These standards covers around 222 agricultural products like cereals, pulses, vegetables etc. It is also provided for those products that are partly manufactured and partly produced. It is also provided for horticultural products.
