Registration of MSME / UDAYAM

The expansion of India's industrial sector is fueled by the UDAYAM Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. These industries produce and manufacture the highest number of units for import and export goods. On July 1, 2020, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises launched the Udayam, the new MSME/UDYOG AADHAAR registration procedure. MSMEs contribute to economic expansion and generate numerous job opportunities for rural residents.

All currently operational enterprises registered under UAM or EM-Part-II are required to re-register on the Udyam Registration platform by July 1st, 2020, at the latest. The authorities will reclassify businesses that were registered up until June 30, 2020, in line with this announcement. Existing businesses that registered before June 30, 2020, will only be allowed to operate until March 31, 2021. MSME/UDYAM industries form the foundation of the economy that grows in international marketing.
